This Cookie Policy explains how S.C. CROCKY S.R.L. ("Crocky", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the https://crocky.host website. It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them.

We rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive for analytics & chat cookies. Strictly necessary cookies, and functional preference cookies that you set yourself, are exempt from consent because they are needed to deliver the website and the specific functionality you request.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use comparable technologies such as localStorage. Site operators use them to make sites work, work more efficiently, and to remember your choices.
First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting (here, S.C. CROCKY S.R.L.). Third-party cookies are set by other parties whose features run on our site. On crocky.host, the only third party that can set cookies is our live-chat provider (Tidio), and only after you opt in.
Why we use cookies
Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for the site, the client area, and the checkout to operate ("essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies). Others remember your preferences (such as dark mode, language, or currency), and one optional category loads our live-chat widget. We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not run Google Analytics or any ad-network tags.

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject all (both a single click, equally prominent), or open Preferences. The Analytics & chat category is off by default and loads only after you opt in. Strictly-necessary and functional/preference cookies are always active, because they are required for the site and for the preferences you choose yourself; they cannot be switched off here, but you can clear them anytime in your browser.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time (withdrawing is as easy as giving consent) by clicking "Cookie settings" in the site footer on any page. Functional and preference
These remember preferences you choose yourself (light/dark mode, language and currency) so the site behaves the way you set it. They are first-party, are not used for tracking, and are set only as a direct result of you using the matching control. Because they exist solely to provide functionality you explicitly requested, they are always active and are not part of the consent toggle; you can still remove them through your browser at any time.

Analytics & chat
This category loads our live-chat widget, provided by Tidio. It is a third-party service that sets its own cookies and is used to offer support and basic visitor statistics. It loads only after you accept this category; until then it is fully blocked. Turning the category off in "Cookie settings" clears Tidio's stored data (a page reload completes the removal).

Web fonts
Our pages use the Plus Jakarta Sans and DM Sans typefaces served by Google Fonts. This does not set any cookies, but your browser connects to Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) to download the font files, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google for that purpose. Cookies are not the only way to recognise visitors. Our live-chat provider may use related technologies such as local storage to keep your conversation. We do not use web beacons or tracking pixels for advertising on crocky.host.
