Before you subscribe

How does a website subscription work?

We build the site, host it and look after it, and you pay one monthly fee. There is no down payment and no setup fee: building, hosting, SSL, updates and the everyday changes are part of the subscription.

What happens if I cancel?

You cancel from your client area. The site stays online until the end of the period you paid for, then we stop hosting it. The domain stays yours.

Who owns the domain?

You do. On Start and Standard you register it through us or transfer it to us, so we can manage it. On Advanced and Enterprise the registration is part of the subscription. Either way it is registered in your name.

How long until the site is ready?

Start takes about 48 hours, Standard 48 to 72 hours. Advanced and Enterprise depend on how complex the site is; we agree the deadline at the start.

What counts as an everyday change?

New text, swapped photos, updated prices, an adjusted section. Send them in a ticket. Anything bigger, such as a new feature, we talk through first.

Can I switch to another subscription later?

Yes. Write to us and we move you to the new subscription from your next invoice.

I already have a site. Can you take it over?

Yes, with the maintenance for sites built elsewhere, on the Web development page. We start with an audit and a work plan.
